Getting the masses equipped with more and more 4G mobiles and mainly VoLTE supported ones seems to be the aim of Reliance Jio. After the announcement of zero rupees JioPhone, another arm of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), the Reliance Retail Ltd owned LYF brand has launched a budget-range android smartphone under its new C series called LYF C459.
LYF C459 smartphone is priced at Rs 4,699 and is available exclusively via Reliance Digital stores. If you are looking to buy one, you get to choose from two colour options – Black and Blue.

Design wise LYF C459 got a metallic body with the matte back finish. The mobile flaunts a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD 480×854 display with 218 ppi and protected via 2D Asahi Glass. Under the hood, you get a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. To store all your media files, the mobile carries 8GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Coming to photography, LYF C459 got a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support. For selfie lovers, there is a 2-megapixel camera on the front. On the connectivity side, the dual SIM mobile got support for 4G LTE, which company says as ‘TRUE 4G’ support. It packs VoLTE support allowing you to make high-definition voice and voice calls over LTE network. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB OTG support. The mobile runs on a bit old Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Jio apps pre-loaded. To fuel the device, a 2000 mAh lithium Ion(Li-Ion) been packed at back of the mobile.
