The special edition future-ready android smartphone from LYF got much more affordable. Reliance Retail’s mobile brand LYF has launched yet another smartphone under the future one series – the all-new LYF F1S. On a quick glance the mobile packs cutting-edge features like LTE+ carrier aggregation, rich communication services, Snapdragon processor, 16MP camera and full HD crisp display.
LYF F1S comes with a price tag of Rs 9,599 and is the first smartphone in the future one series to come under the 10K price range. The mobile will be available exclusively via AJIO, an online retail/e-commerce arm of Reliance Retail Limited. With the mobile, you can also avail Reliance Jio’s ‘Happy New Year Offer’, which provides unlimited voice calling, messaging and 4G data benefits.
LYF F1S specification & features
Coming to the specification and features, the LYF F1S got a premium build quality with a metal unibody design. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display that’s covered by 2.5D curved glass and comes with a pixel density of 423 ppi. Incell technology powers the screen ensuring low battery consumption and protected by Corning Concore Glass.
Under the hood, the LYF F1S packs an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 MSM8976 processor clocked at 1.8GHz + 1.4GHz. The processor is coupled with 3GB of RAM and accompanied by Adreno 510 GPU. This combination offers enough processing power for seamless multitasking and intense gaming. To store all your media contents, the mobile comes with 32GB internal storage. This can be further expanded up to 128GB using microSD card.
On to photography, the LYF F1S got a 16-megapixel camera on the back with PDAF and dual LED flash support. It also features UbiFocus that helps you to focus on multiple objects located at different depths in a frame. On front for selfie lovers, the smartphone packs a 5-megapixel camera which also comes with a LED flash support.
Connectivity wise the dual SIM LYF F1S smartphone comes with full 4G LTE capability that supports all Indian 4G bands. The faster LTE+ carrier aggregation support ensures high data speed even in a congested network and low coverage areas. The mobile also comes with VoLTE support for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G networks along with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and USB Type-C. The mobile runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 operating system with almost stock android UI.
