It all happens through thousand’s of servers on this secret close guarded data centers. Only a few people has seen it as Google go to great lengths to protect this valuable data.
You are lucky, for the first time Google is unveiling the inside of their data centers and can also go for a virtual visit with the help of Street View. Google has put up a beautiful gallery page on Where the Internet lives, where you can see exclusive photos from the server floor in Council Bluffs, Iowa or you can have a virtual visit using Street View at Lenoir, North Carolina data center . You can walk around the data center experiencing energy-efficient cooling infrastructure or walk in straight through the front door explore the office floor or head down the hall to the data center floor.
