LG India unveiled there 5 inch phablet offering ‘Optimus VU (P895)’ in India placed in direct competition with the more popular Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at a competitive price of Rs 34,500.

Packed with Vivid 5 inch True-XGA IPS display providing having 4:3 aspect ratio that efficiently and accurately represents the proper layout of books and magazines. The XGA-resolution LCD features in-plane switching plus LG’s own high-definition detail and true-to-life color enhancements for outstanding image quality from top to bottom and side to side. Its powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which will be upgraded to Jelly Bean soon. It also got a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera.

LG also offers Stylus based Rubidium pen that provides lots of extra function to the phablet similar to Stylus pen on Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It has some stylus specific application like Quick Memo and Notebook.
