A powerhouse of performance under the sweet budget segment, that’s Lenovo‘s new android smartphone Vibe K5. The successor to the Lenovo A6000 smartphone and a stripped down version of recently launched Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus. The phone features Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, Dolby Atoms speakers, HD display, 13 MP camera and 4G LTE network support.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 is priced at Rs 6,999 and available exclusively at Amazon India where it will go on for the first flash sale on June 22nd, 2016 at 2:00PM.
Coming back to the specification, Lenovo Vibe K5 got a metal body with the company claiming to be of the aviation grade aluminum alloy. The phone is 7.99mm thick and weighs just 142 grams on hand.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294 ppi and 178-degree viewing angle. The mobile is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Vibe UI on top.
For storage, the Vibe K5 comes with 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded using microSD card. On the photography side, the smartphone got a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
On the connectivity side, the Lenovo Vibe K5 got dual-SIM card slots with support for 4G LTE networks along with 3G, 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth options. Other added features include the support for Lenovo’s TheaterMax technology, which can be experienced via the AntVR headset that needs to be purchased separately.
