Lenovo aggressively pushing its way to the crowded Indian smartphone market, with the launch of six new Android smartphones priced at every level, from the flagship Lenovo K900 priced at Rs 32,999 to the more affordable Lenovo A390 at Rs 8,689.
Lenovo launched A390, A706, S820, P780, S920 and K900 smartphones in India. All are Android based smartphones with minimum 4 inch display, dual core or quad- core cpu and supports Dual-SIM with the pricing starting at Rs 8,689. Now let’s get down to specification of this Android smartphones –
Starting with Lenovo’s flagship phablet smartphone K900, features 5.5 inch IPS Full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels having 401 PPI. It’s powered by 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 (CloverTrail+ dual core chipset) with 2 GB RAM, carrying 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded with microSD card up to 32GB. It spots a 13 megapixel shooter on back that has a f1.8 focal length lens, making it the first smartphone camera to offer such a wide aperture and on the front it carries a 2 megapixel camera. It runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with its own customized UI. The smartphone is price at Rs 32,999 and will be available at around 3,000 Lenovo outlets from July, 2013 onwards.

Lenovo S920 is a high-end Android smartphone with 5.3 inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589 processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded with microSD card up to 32GB, runs on the latest Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS and have 2,250mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 26,399 and available through online retail stores from July, 2013.
Lenovo P780 spots a 5 inch IPS 720p display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589 processor with 1GB RAM. It It also comes with 8 megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded with microSD card up to 32GB, runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and have a massive battery of 4000mAh. The smartphone is priced at Rs 22,529.
Lenovo S820 has a 4.7 inch HD 720p IPS display and is powered by the same 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589 processor with 1GB RAM. It comes with 12 megapixel rear camera for serious shooting experience, 2 megapixel front camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded with microSD card up to 32GB, runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and have a battery of 2000mAh. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,599.
Lenovo A706 carries a 4.5 inch IPS display with 480×854 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor with 1GB RAM. It spots a 5 megapixel shooter on the back, VGA front camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded with microSD card up to 32GB, runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and have a battery of 2000mAh. The smartphone is priced at Rs 15,949.
The last smartphone released is the Lenovo A390 featuring 4 inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and is powered by 1GHz dual-core Mediatek MTK 6511 processor with 512mb RAM. It carries only a 5 megapixel rear camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded with microSD card up to 32GB, runs on Android ICS OS and have a battery of 1,400mAh . The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,689.
With this mobile specification and pricing it seems Lenovo is making a hard bet on Indian smartphone market, as local Indian vendors like Micromoax and Karboon are offering much better spec smartphones at a more affordable price point.
