The company is touting the mobile as ‘KillerNote’ as it offers Killer performance with its deca-core chipset, Killer camera with its dual camera, Killer multimedia with its TheaterMax and Dolby Atmos and finally Killer experience with pure Android OS.
The Lenovo K8 Note will come in two variant, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage priced at Rs 12,999. While the second variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at Rs 13,999. So, for a Rs 1000 difference between two, we always recommend going for the bigger RAM and storage model as it offers more memory for your tasks. The dual camera
First, to the main point, Lenovo K8 Note features a dual camera at back. You get a 13-megapixel PureCel Plus sensor for capturing photos and another 5-megapixel sensor to capture depth information. Combining this two parallel rear cameras you can capture photos with DSLR-like bokeh effect. You can even view the bokeh effects in real-time with up to f/1.2 aperture. With the help of the camera app, you can even refocus the photos after they have been captured. Supporting these cameras the mobile comes with dual CCT LED flash.
On the front for selfie addicts, the Lenovo K8 Note sports a 13-megapixel camera. You can take great selfies in low light or at night as it comes with party flash.
Performance and Connectivity
The Lenovo K8 Note have a premium metal body covered in two colour options – Fine Gold and Venom Black. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. To power the device, a 2.3Ghz MediaTek Helio X23 (MT6797) deca-core processor being used which is coupled with up to 4GB of RAM. To store your media content the mobile comes with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 128GB using a microSD card which gets its own dedicated card slot.
For connectivity, Lenovo K8 Note support 4G LTE network that will work with all major 4G band of Indian telcos. The mobile also supports 4G VoLTE allowing you to make HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity options include 3G and 2G network, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2. Bring the hardware together, the mobile runs on un-customised stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The device also includes a fingerprint scanner placed at the back of the device. Pulling another leaf from the Motorola’s book, the mobile has a water repellent nano coating.
