Lenovo today enters the Indian smartphone market with the launch of five Android based Smartphones targeting every budget group of people. These Android based smartphones are Lenovo A60+, Lenovo S880, Lenovo P700i, Lenovo K860, and Lenovo S560.

Lenovo K860, the most powerful smartphone among the group is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor and has 8GB internal storage. It got a 5 inch IPS display which is having a resolution of 720X1280 pixel providing crisp images and can provide wide 178 degree viewing angles. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, got a 8 MP shooter at rear and 2MP front facing camera. This stylish geek smartphone is priced at Rs 28,499.
The Lenovo S880 is essentially a dual-SIM Android smartphone packed with some good hardware. It features a 5 inch display and powered by 1GHz processor with 512MB RAM. This is a sleek-looking smartphone,with just 9.9mm thick and boasts of long battery life. It also runs under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and got 4GB Internal memory. The stylish smartphone is priced at Rs 18,999.
Lenovo S560 is for music lovers at it packs in Dolby Digital Plus technology for providing stereo quality sound on it double speakers. It’s powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and features a 4inch WVGA IPS display. It also got a 5MP rear camera and also a front facing camera for video calling. This smartphone is being priced at Rs 14,499.
Lenovo P700i is another dual-SIM capable Android smartphone which features Lenovo Smart Energy technology to helps to enhance the battery life. According to Lenovo the smartphone provides standby time up to 13 days and 28 hours of talk time perfectly suitable for frequent traveler’s and businessman. It also got a 4 inch display and powered by 1GHz dual-core processor. This professional smartphone is being priced at Rs 12,499.
Lenovo A60+ is a budget friendly smartphone priced at Rs 6,499 which packs 1GHz processor with 256MB RAM and runs on old Android 3.2 OS. It got a 3.5 inch display and dual-SIM capability. All the smartphones support 3G and Wi-Fi internet connectivity making them attractive at any price point.
All five smartphones are already available with at all leading online and offline retailers and Lenovo exclusive stores in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Gujarat. During this festive season Lenovo aims to capture a portion of the market which is currently ruled by International brands like Samsung and local brands like Micromax, Karbonn etc.
