Peace of mind on using your costly mobile device. Indian mobile vendor Lava will now offer a two-year warranty on its Smartphones and Feature phone range. Most of the existing Lava Mobiles will come under the two-year warranty scheme. However, the two-year warranty will be applicable only on purchases you have made on or after 26th August 2017.
Currently, a few selected Lava smartphones and feature phones have the two-year warranty offer. This include A52, A44, A77, A97, A97 IPS, A97 IPS Signature, A97 2GB, A97 2GB+, Z10, Z 10_3GB, Z25, Captain N1, Captain K1+, ARC 105, ARC One+, KKT 9s, ARC 101, KKT Pearl, KKT 34 Power, KKT 40Power+, Spark i7 and Spark Curvy+. But all future launches of Lava will carry the 2-year warranty.
What’s covered under the Lava 2-year warranty? Your Lava mobile device will come with a warranty period of 2 years. The display unit which covers Touch panel, LCD, OGS (One Glass Solution) or OCA (Optically clear adhesive) assembly of the touch panel and LCD will have a warranty of 12 months. Whereas, battery, charger and headset, earphones and cosmetic parts like front and back cover, battery cover, volume key and power key will come with a warranty of six months.
Of course, you will not get any warranty if your Lava mobile has gone through abnormal use or conditions, improper storage, exposure to excessive moisture or dampness, exposure to excessive temperature, unauthorized modification, unauthorized repair and spills of food or liquids. Even rooting or installation of ROM files may void the warranty.
