Our smartphones are no longer dump which is used for just making calls or running some random apps, it’s becoming a more powerful miniature PC on hand. From the earlier single core processors, our smartphones have now reached the hexa-core processor family bringing in immense power to our hands. Bringing the powerful CPU at an affordable price range Indian smartphone vendor Karbonn has launched Titanium Hexa – a hexa-core processor powered Android smartphone and two octa-core powered smartphones – Titanium Octane and the Titanium Octane Plus.
Karbonn Titanium Hexa
As the name suggest Titanium Hexa is powered by a 1.5 GHz hexa-core processor made from MediaTek MT6591 along with 2GB RAM. It also features a 5.5inch full HD LTPS display, a 13 megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5 megapixel front facing camera. It got 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded using microSD cards. It supports Dual SIM with 3G, 2G network options along with WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity options. Another plus point is that the smartphone runs on latest Android KitKat 4.4 mobile operating system.
Karbonn has priced the Titanium Hexa at Rs 16,900 and will be available from the first week of April 2014.

Karbonn Titanium Octane & Titanium Octane Plus
A small cut off in the processor count, Karboon has also unveiled two octa-core processor powered Android smartphones – Titanium Octane and the Titanium Octane Plus. Both the smartphones are powered by Mediatek MT6592 – 1.7 GHz clocked Octa Core Processors and runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system.
Titanium Octane features a 5 inch HD 720p display along with 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded using microSD card, a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera The smartphones carries a 2,000mAh battery.
Titanium Octane Plus on the other hand got much better hardware like a 5 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixel) display along with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded using microSD card, a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 8 megapixel front facing camera. It also carries a handful of sensors like G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, Gyro Sensor and Magnetic Sensor.
On the connectivity side both smartphone support 3G, 2G networks along with WiFi and Bluetooth v 4.0.
Karbonn has priced the Titanium Octane at Rs 14,490 and the Titanium Octane Plus at Rs 17,990. Both smartphones will make to Indian retail stores by first week of April 2014.
