JioMart is essentially a front-end part of the Reliance Fresh and Reliance Smart stores (Smart Superstore and Smart Point). So, where ever Reliance Fresh and Reliance Smart stores are located, your area would be serviceable on JioMart.
JioMart offers a wide range of perishables like fruits and vegetables and dairy items. Also, the e-commerce store serves grocery products not limited to rice, dals, oil, packaged food, dairy item, frozen, pet food, household cleaning items and personal care products. According to the company, most of their fruits and vegetables are been directly sourced from farmers and the same has been shown on their website.
Registration on JioMart is an easy process, where you share you’re phone number and address details. The e-commerce offers different modes of payment including Credit Card, Debit card, Netbanking and cash on delivery. You could also pay via a mobile wallet like JioMoney, Paytm, PhonePe and MobiKwik. As a common norm, you could pay using UPI from any of this mobile wallets.
As for an offer to push you to try out JioMart, the company is running a promotion, where you could buy products at a minimum 5 per cent below MRP.
The accelerated push of JioMart came as investors are pumping in money on the Jio Platforms. It has raised more than $10 billion in the last month alone from investors like Facebook, Silver Lake, Vista Equity Partners, and General Atlantic.
