Soon after Airtel announced the new special recharge STV countering Reliance Jio’s lowest monthly Jio plan, India’s third largest telecom operator Idea Cellular has come up with its own unlimited pack. The new Rs 198 unlimited pack for Idea’s prepaid subscribers offers both voice and 4G data benefits.
Idea Cellular’s Rs 198 Unlimited Pack offers subscribers unlimited local and STD voice calls to any number across India. Note that, there is a restriction on the unlimited voice calling. You only get 250 minutes in a day or 1000 minutes in a week or 100 unique callers in a week. This pack also comes with 1GB of 4G, 3G and 2G data benefits. So, even if you own a 2G or 3G mobile device you can fully utilise the data under this pack. This pack has a validity of 28 days.
There is also another Unlimited Pack at Rs 357 which offers the same voice benefits as the above pack. However, with this pack, you get 1GB of 4G/3G/2G data benefits per day. It also comes with a validity of 28 days.

The above-unlimited pack seems to be available to selected prepaid customers in selected telecom circles. So, you may need to contact Idea Cellular’s customer care for the correct value of pack and also check availability on your number. For new Idea Cellular customers, the operator is offering the same unlimited pack at Rs 178 and Rs 338 respectively.
