Leading the Kerala telecom sector in 4G footprint, Indian telecom operator Idea Cellular has expanded its 4G LTE service to seven more cities in Kerala telecom circle.

Within three months of initial launch in Kochi, Kozhikode and Malappuram, Idea has now rolled out its high-speed 4G LTE service in seven more cities including the state capital Thiruvananthapuram, Kannur, Kollam, Kottayam, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta and Thrissur. This expansion added to the earlier launch of 4G in three cities brings up the total tally up to ten cities out of the 14 district in the state.

Idea customers can avail free upgrade to 4G SIM from any of the Company Showrooms and lead retail outlets across this towns. They can also choose 4G Prepaid and Postpaid tariff plans that are priced at par with existing 3G plans.
