A bit of confusion, bit of hesitation and finally HTC made the call! HTC’s 2016 flagship android device HTC 10 with Snapdragon 820 and 4GB RAM will be launched very soon in India.

HTC has earlier listed the toned down variant of HTC 10 called the HTC 10 Lifestyle featuring the Snapdragon 652 processor and 3GB RAM in India. But the latest confirmation from HTC India and re-editing of HTC 10 listing on their official website indicates imminent launch of the original HTC 10 in India.

We are pleased to announce that global flagship HTC 10 is coming soon to India. Stay tuned for the announcement and the availability date,” said Mr. Faisal Siddiqui, President HTC South Asia.

Going through the original specification of HTC 10, the mobile flaunts a 5.2-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display, powered by 2.2GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and comes in 32GB or 64GB internal storage variant.

HTC 10 got a 12-megapixel UltraPixel 2 camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front with world’s first dual Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It also carries BoomSound Hi-Fi edition speakers with a dedicated amplifier for each speaker.

On the connectivity side, HTC 10 support all Indian 4G LTE bands, along with 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C port. For extra security, it got a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.

As far as the pricing go there is no official Indian pricing announced, but internationally it’s been priced at $ 699, that’s around Rs 48,000 and is expected to go on sale by next month in India.
