Superb design that reflects vivid colours, Artificial Intelligence powered camera, gorgeous FullView display and powerful hardware. That’s the new Honor 10 android smartphone from Huawei’s sub-brand Honor. The mobile was announced during an event held in London today and the best part, it’s already available in Indian market.
Honor 10 is placed in the premium segment with a price tag of Rs 32,999. The mobile is available to purchase exclusively through Flipkart. Pre-order for the smartphone has already started on the online store with a slew of launch offers. This includes 10 percent instant discount when you pay for the phone with Axis Bank Credit and Debit Cards. Also, Flipkart would be offering extra up to Rs 5000 discount while exchanging your old phones.
Honor 10 Specifications and Features
The major attraction of Honor 10 is its Aurora glass design. Like the one you saw in Huawei P20, this mobile is crafted with glass back and metal frame. This glass design reflects gorgeous vivid colours based on how you hold the mobile and how the light hits the glass surface. Up in the front, the mobile flaunts a 5.84-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Do note that, there is a notch just like in the iPhone X and a small chin at the bottom which houses the fingerprint scanner.
Honor 10 is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 970 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. There is also a separate Neural Processing Engine for doing dedicated AI based tasks. For storage, you get to choose from either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage options. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 OS.
On the photography side, the Honor 10 boasts a dual-camera setup at the back. Its a combination of 16-megapixel RGB colour sensor featuring f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, along with a 24-megapixel monochrome sensor. For selfie addicts, the mobile carries a 24-megapixel front camera featuring f/2.0 aperture. Both camera units packs AI enhancements like AI Beauty mode, AI Portrait mode and object recognition.
Coming to connectivity, the Honor 10 comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G and 2G network options. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. Finally fuelling the mobiles is a 3,400mAh battery featuring 9V/2A Fast Charging.
