That’s an awesome innovation, augmented reality is already here. Google has just unveiled a glimpse of its new Android-powered wearable glasses concept called the “Project Glass“, one that helps you to explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment.
It’s the future we are going to see through our eyes. It may be a year until its shows up in stores near you, and much longer until the product work well. Currently its a standard prescription glass frame with a tiny transparent glass above the wearer’s right eye. They may be linked to your Android powered smartphone to process the information. It’s the next step on the way to augmented reality contact lenses.
Google team is the information now because they want to start a conversation and learn from users valuable input. So they took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do. Google has release a mind-blowing Project Glass mock-up video (truly mid blowing). Also you may want to follow the project on Google+.
