Google has officially released the Google Now Launcher for all devices from any manufacturer that run Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and higher. Earlier the Launcher was exclusively available to Google Nexus and Google Play Experience devices.
Google Now Launcher brings the stock home screen that’s clean, faster, simple and customizable. One can quickly swipe to the left end to access the Google Now cards, which bringing the right information at just the right time. Another interesting addition is, users can tap the search box or just say “Ok Google” to trigger voice input and do search on web or do specific tasks like make a phone call, send a message, open apps, save notes etc. The status and navigation bars are translucent, so your wallpaper fill the complete screen, and is even visible when you expand your apps drawer.
One can install the Google Now launcher directly from Google Play store and set ‘Google Now launcher’ as your default launcher by clicking the home button on your phone.
