Love music? well, you have one more credible source to stream or download music. Google has finally launched Google Play Music in India. You can purchase songs from the vast collection of Indian regional and international music from all the major labels and thousands of independent labels.
You can purchase songs directly from Google Play store or use the Google Play Music app.
What about prices? well, you can buy a single song as low as Rs 15 and for the whole album, you may need to shell out around Rs 60 and up. When compared this to other music services, Apple Music charges around Rs 7 for songs, whereas Airtel Wynk Music charges less than Rs 10 for songs. So Google seems to be on the higher side here.
Google Play Music got songs from the majority of Indian regional languages. This including Hindi/Bollywood, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Punjabi. In addition, it got a vast collection of songs under Ghazals & Sufi, Indian Classical and Indian Pop. You can also browse songs through Genres, Albums, Artists and top charts.
Google India seems to have partnered with all major record labels in India including Saregama India, T-Series, Times Music, Sony Music Entertainment India and more.

Google still has not launched the unlimited free music streaming radio. Which includes pre-curated playlists or radio stations like Kishore Kumar Radio, AR Rehman radio where they can listen to a collection of songs from the artist or genre.
