Google launched “Body Browser,” a WebGL application that lets users explore a high resolution, interactive 3D anatomical model of the human body . Imagery models are based on the data from Zygote Media Group .

Features

  • Tear down the human body from skin down to the nervous system.
  • Zoom in and out.
  • Select and examine a particular body part or region.
  • Features a handy search bar with predictive results.
  • Perhaps best of all: no plug-ins. No Flash, no Java.

Only requirement is a web browser that supports WebGL like Google Chrome Beta | Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta | WebKit nightly .
