Love taking selfies of your beautiful face or with your friends each and every time? Well, Gionee India has launched the perfect mobile exactly for that cause. The Chinese mobile vendor has launched Gionee A1 android smartphone in India. On a quick glance, the mobile features full HD display, 16-megapixel selfie camera, an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, bigger capacity battery and 4G with VoLTE support.
What’s the price? Gionee A1 will come with a price tag of Rs 19,999. Pre-booking of the mobile will start 31st March 2017. If you are pre-booking the mobile you will get two-year warranty along with a JBL headphone or a Swiss Military Bluetooth Speaker. As for availability, the mobile will be up for sale on Amazon India and Gionee e-store.
Display and Power
Gionee A1 got a sleek premium metal unibody construction with contoured edges. If you are looking for more stylish look the mobile comes in three colour options – Gray, Black, and Gold. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD 1920 x 1080p display.
Under the hood, the Gionee A1 is powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. This combination offers optimum performance, speedy multi-tasking and intense gaming performance. To store all your selfies and other media content the mobile carries 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 256GB using microSD card.
Photography and Connectivity
Coming to the most highlighted feature of Gionee A1, the 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. It features 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture. To capture your face even at night the mobile comes with front LED flash or selfie flash support. On the back the mobile packs a 13-megapixel camera featuring SONY IMX 258, PDAF and f/2.0 aperture.
As for connectivity, the Gionee A1 comes with hybrid SIM slot, so either you can have dual SIM or a single SIM along with a microSD card. The mobile supports high-speed 4G LTE networks that work with every telco’s 4G bands in India. In addition, it also comes with VoLTE for HD voice and video calling. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4G + 5G, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro USB.
The Gionee A1 runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Amigo OS 4.0 skin over the top. For extra security, the mobile has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the front home button. To fuel the whole device a 4010 mAh battery is included supporting 18 W Fast Charging.
