World’s biggest social network Facebook is slowly rolling out new features everyday. Some of this features get noticed and some we never know it existed. Currently Facebook has added some spicy features to its built-in chat function. Now you can show up profile pictures of Facebook users and pages right inside your chat window. Want to try out, here is it –
- As always first login to your Facebook account, now try to chat with someone
- Now when you need to refer a friend of yours or a fan page, take the vanity url or say profile ID, like for sharepress our Facebook fan page is www.facebook.com/SharePress and our profile ID is SharePress. For those who have not claimed their vanity url you need to get a string of numbers (something like www.facebook.com/246631252031491 ).
- Use that profile id in chat inside a double brackets, for example put [[sharepress]] and that’s all, you will get cool small face icons on the chat.
