A premium built, powerful hardware packed, yet with a budget-friendly price tag. That’s the new Coolpad Note 5 Lite smartphone from Coolpad India. The latest in the Coolpad Note series is actually a slimmed down version of the six months old Coolpad Note 5.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with a price tag Rs 8,199. As with every Coolpad devices, the Note 5 Lite will also be available exclusively through Amazon. The sale for the mobile starts from 21st March 2017 and will come in gold and grey colour options.
Design and Power
Keeping up with a premium look and feel, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite boasts a metal unibody design. In the front, the 2.5D curved glass covers the display. On the back, we have the fingerprint scanner right below the back camera module.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS 1280X970 display with pixel density of 294 PPI. Under the hood, the mobile is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Mali – T720 GPU. For storing all your media content the mobile carries 16GB of onboard storage. You can further upgrade the storage using microSD card.
Photography and Connectivity
Now the best part of the smartphone. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite features a 13-megapixel camera on the back with autofocus and led flash support. On the front for selfie addicts, the mobile carries an 8-megapixel camera. To brighten up your beautiful face while taking selfies, we got LED flash on the front.
On the connectivity side, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite got dual SIM capability which is in the form of hybrid card slot (SIM or microSD card). The mobile supports 4G LTE network which works with every telecoms 4G bands in India. It also comes with VoLTE support for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity option includes 3G and 2G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite has a 2,500mAh non-removable battery which company claims to offer a standby time of up to 200 hours. Finally, the mobile runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Coolpad’s Cool UI 8.0 over the top.
