If you are Bharat Gas subscriber then you can now go completely cashless with the Paytm Wallet. Once the cooking gas is delivered at your doorstep, you can simply scan the Paytm QR Code from the delivery boy to pay the money instantly.
On one side you get the relief from sorting out the small changes and keeping cash in hand. On the other side thousands of delivery boys can now work faster as they are no longer tied down with the hassles of handling a lot of cash regularly.
How to pay for Bharat Gas via Paytm Wallet
- Once the cooking gas is delivered at doorstep, ask the delivery boy for the Paytm payment.
- You need to scan the QR code shown by the delivery boy, enter the payment amount and approve the payment.
- The merchant (or the delivery boy) doesn’t need to have a data connection for completing the transaction. As he/she will get the payment confirmation through an SMS.
Currently, around 400 Bharat Gas dealerships across the country have implemented the Paytm Wallet for cashless payment. The company plans to extend this partnership to 1000 more dealerships in the coming months.
Recently Paytm partnered with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. to allow customers to pay for fuel at Indian Oil Petrol pumps using Paytm mobile wallet.
