It seems the government owned telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is up to the task to match up with the private telecom operators lucrative offers. This time, it’s for the high paying postpaid subscribers, who can get up to ten times more 3G data benefits on their existing subscribed plan.
BSNL Postpaid users subscribed to postpaid voice plan 1125 and plan 1525 will now get up to 10 time more 3G data. Under the postpaid voice plan 1125, the operator now offers 10GB of free 3G data benefits. Earlier the same plan offered only 1GB of 3G data benefits. That’s around ten times the data benefit every month for free. Similarly, the postpaid voice plan 1525 which earlier offered subscribers with 5GB of 3G data benefits will now come with 30GB of free 3G data benefits per month.
What’s more? these postpaid voice plan 1125 and plan 1525 also offers unlimited free voice calls. Both plans offer unlimited on-net and off-net voice calls on local and STD numbers without any FUP (fair usage policy) limit. In addition incoming and outgoing calls while on roaming is also free on these plans.

The above free data benefits will be automatically applied to all existing postpaid users under the postpaid voice plans. New customers taking BSNL Postpaid connection or MNP users moving to BSNL can choose from the above postpaid voice plan to avail the free benefits. The promotional 3G data benefits are valid for pan-India BSNL customers under the postpaid voice plans. The extra free 3G benefits are valid for a period of three months or for three billing cycles. If in any case, you use 3G data above the free limit, you will be charged as per your postpaid plan data tariff.
If you are a prepaid BSNL customer, then the operator recently started offering up to four times extra 3G data benefits on several of its existing 3G data STVs. This offer essentially brought down the overall cost of 3G data to industry lowest Rs 36 per GB. One of the most popular 3G data STV of Rs 292 will now come with four times the 3G data benefits or 8GB of 3G data benefits.
