A bit late to the party, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come up with its Work From Home prepaid mobile plan for its customers. The state-owned telecom operator has introduced STV 599 Work from Home (WFH) plan for prepaid mobile subscribers.
BSNL Chennai telecom circle (including Tamil Nadu circle) has launched this STV, but it seems available pan-India. The new STV is valid for recharge from July 6th 2020.
Work from Home STV 599
Under the STV 599 WFH plan, BSNL customers would get 5GB data per day at high-speed (4G or 3G speed depending upon your area). If you ever hit the daily data limit, you would still get unlimited data usage at a reduced speed of 80Kbps.
Other benefits under the Work From Home STV include unlimited free voice calling minutes to any network anywhere in India including MTNL roaming area of Delhi and Mumbai. There is a fair usage policy or FUP limit of 250 minutes per day. If your voice calls exceed this limit within a day you will be charged as per your base plan tariff.
In addition to the unlimited data and voice benefits, the STV 599 Work from Home plan also comes with free 100 SMS per day to any network in India. The validity of the work from home STV is 90 days.

You could recharge for the STV 599 Work from Home plan through BSNL portal, My BSNL app and SMS. To activate the STV through SMS, you need to send an SMS with the body “STV COMBO599” to 123.
