Matching up with the disruptive mobile tariff plans from private telecom operators, the state-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has revised some of its popular unlimited combo STV plans.
BSNL’s unlimited combo STV plans usually comes with unlimited voice offering along with SMS and daily 3G data benefits. With the new revised tariff, the price of the STVs remains the same, but the data and validity benefits have been increased.
BSNL has revised tariff of six of its popular prepaid STVs, which include the STV 186 (PV), STV 187, STV 349, 429 (PV), 485 (PV), and the Sixer STV 666. Each of this STVs will offer unlimited local and STD voice calls to any network across India. You also get unlimited calls even on roaming, excluding Mumbai and Delhi. In addition, these STVs will offer free 100 SMS per day. The main difference between these STVs comes in the daily 3G data quota and validity.
The 186(PV) and STV 187 offers 1GB of 3G or 2G data per day for a period of 28 days. It’s also one of the cheapest monthly unlimited combo plans from the telco. Note that, these two plans earlier offered voice benefits only in the home circle.
BSNL STV 349 now comes with data benefits of 1GB data per day for a period of 54 days. The 429 (PV), which is priced at Rs 429 has the same benefits of STV 349, but with an extended validity of 84 days. Similarly, the 485(PV) and 666(PV) mobile plans will each offer 1.5GB of data per day. The 485(PV) will come with a validity of 90 days, whereas the 666(PV) will be valid for 128 days.

The above-revised STVs from BSNL will be available to pan-India prepaid customers starting 15th January 2018. Do note that the, PV plans are available to a limited telecom circle such as Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and North East etc.
