It’s start of the month and government owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) does it again by revising some of its popular voice and data STVs. This time, data benefits of most of the STVs have been cut down to 70 percent, withdrawn certain STVs for Kerala telecom circle and luckily increased the validity of Nehle per Dehla combo STV.
First the good news, BSNL has revised the Nehle pe Dehla STV 395 adding more validity. The combo STV now comes with an extended validity of 71 days instead of 60 days. Other benefits including 3000 minutes of on-net local and STD voice calls, 1800 minutes off-net local and STD voice calls, and unlimited data benefits with a FUP limit of 2GB per day remains the same. The change is applicable to pan-India BSNL prepaid customers.
Next, the Triple Ace STV 333, as the name suggest offered 3GB of data benefits per day. But, now BSNL has decided to cut down the data benefits to 1GB per day. It also has a limited validity of 56 days. The revision in the data STV is applicable only to BSNL prepaid customers in South Zone. Subscribers from rest of India can still get the benefits of 3GB data per data. Another data STV which got cut down in its benefits is the BSNL Chaukka STV 444. The data STVs data benefits have been revised from 4GB per day to all way down to 2GB per day. This revision is only for BSNL prepaid customers in South Zone.
The worse part, the BSNL Chaukka STV 444 and BSNL SIXER 666 plan has been withdrawn completely from Kerala telecom circle. Existing and new BSNL prepaid subscribers in Kerala telecom circle won’t be able to make use of the popular data STVs or plan.
