If you are a low mobile internet user and was doing the BSNL’s super affordable monthly 3G data plans, then you need to check this before doing the special data recharge next time. The Govt owned telecom operator BSNL has revised its popular 3G data plans increasing the free bundled data usage but cutting down the validity of 3G data plans. In addition, BSNL has also announced a new 3G data plan STV29 offering more data on the Go, at lowest charges.
BSNL rationalized some of its popular 3G data plans that include the data STV17, STV39 and STV59. 3G data plan STV17 now offers 110MB of 3G data usage instead of the earlier 90MB, but now with a reduced validity of 1 day. STV39 3G data plan keeps the bundled 200MB data usage but got the validity reduced to 5 days from 6 days. The most popular 3G data plan STV56 got a cut down in the validity from initial 30 days to now 27 days still keeping the bundled 3G data usage to 250MB.
BSNL has also introduced a new 3G data plan STV29 offering 150MB of 3G data usage for a period of 3 days. One can activate any of the above 3G data STVs by simply SMS <STVPlan> to 123.
All the above 3G data plan will be available pan India to BSNL prepaid mobile customers with effect from 1st December 2015.
