To take on the price fight, and to effectively stop the erosion of its massive subscribe base to its rivals, India’s largest ISP provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Broadband has announced a new set of Unlimited Fiber broadband plans. The ISP will be launching four new unlimited Bharat Fiber broadband plans which will be cost-effective with price starting at Rs 449 and speedy enough by offering internet speed up to 300 Mbps.
In addition to the attractive pricing and speed being offered with the new Bharat Fiber broadband plans, BSNL will also bundle Disney+ Hotstar premium subscription without additional cost to some of these plans. Note that its premium subscription (which cost Rs 1499 per year) and not the usual VIP subscription other telcos offer. Also, don’t forget all these new Bharat Fiber broadband plans comes with free landline connection with 24-hours unlimited free calling (local and STD) to any network.
However, it to be noted that BSNL has launched this Bharat Fiber broadband plans on a promotional basis for 90 days. So, after the promotional period is over, the ISP may or may not convert these plans into regular ones which will depend on the customer interest or uptake. Also, these newly launched Fiber broadband plans are available to both new and existing BSNL customers pan-India (with an exception of Andaman & Nicobar). These plans will be officially available from 1st October 2020.
New Unlimited Bharat Fiber Broadband Plans Traffic
BSNL has launched four new unlimited Bharat Fiber Broadband plans, essentially called – Fiber Basic, Fiber Value, Fiber Premium and Fiber Ultra. As we said earlier, these plans come with a free landline connection along with unlimited voice calling to any network. Besides these plans offer unlimited internet access with the usual speed reduction after hitting the fair usage policy (FUP).
Now let’s get into the fine details of each of these unlimited Bharat Fiber broadband plans. First in the row is the BSNL Bharat Fiber Basic broadband plan priced at Rs 449 per month (+ GST). It comes with 30 Mbps internet speed till you hit the data FUP of 3330 GB (per month) and beyond that unlimited internet at a reduced speed of 2 Mbps.
Next, the BSNL Bharat Fiber Value broadband plan which cost Rs 799 per month (+ GST) and comes with up to 100 Mbps speed. It has a data FUP limit of 3300 GB per month beyond that, you will get unlimited internet at 2 Mbps.
Now to the best two plans under the new launch, the BSNL Bharat Fiber Premium broadband plan cost Rs 999 per month (+ GST) and offers 200 Mbps speed. It has a data FUP limit of 3300 GB per month beyond that, you will get unlimited internet at 2 Mbps. However, this plan also bundles a one-year Disney+ Hotstar premium subscription without any additional cost.
Finally, we have the BSNL Bharat Fiber Ultra-broadband plan priced at Rs 1499 per month (+ GST) and comes with a speed of up to 300 Mbps. It has a higher FUP limit of 4000 GB, and beyond that, you will get unlimited internet at 4 Mbps speed. This plan also bundles free one-year Disney+ Hotstar premium subscription. There is also an option to choose static IP with this plan which would cost Rs 2000 per year.

For all the new BSNL Bharat Fiber Broadband plans there would be a security deposit charged which would be equal to one month fixed monthly rental of that plan. Also, for new customer, there would be installation charges to be paid.
