Feeling slow on your unlimited broadband internet plan? After increasing the minimum download speed to 1Mbps on wired broadband plans, India’s biggest broadband service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) does the same for its WiMAX subscribers. The Internet service provider has doubled the minimum download speed on its unlimited Home WiMAX broadband plans.
If you are subscribed to the unlimited Home WiMAX broadband postpaid plan- HOWI 825 then its minimum download speed has been increased to 1Mbps. The increase in speed comes without any increase in monthly rental or any FUP (fair usage policy) limit. Currently, the minimum download speed for the broadband plan is set to 512Kbps. The speed increase will be offered to all the existing and new WiMax Broadband customers starting 1st March 2017.
