Bharti Airtel, India’s top telecom operator has launched “Airtel Shop” a brand new online shopping portal, which offers one stop shop for all airtel products and services. Airtel partnered with one of India’s top shopping portal Infibeam to open up the Airtel Shop. Infibeam has a E-commerce platform named Build A Bazaar which offers customers to build online shopping portals.
Airtel shop currently provides its product and services under mobile, airtel broadband, airtel digital tv, 4G LTE and Business categories. The mobile section of the shop offers a wide range of smartphones from all top handset manufactures including Samsung, Apple, Nokia, HTC, Sony, LG and Blackberry. While checking the shop, we found most of the popular handset models now from different manufacturer but the price seems to be on the higher side when compared to other online and offline stores. Airtel shop also offers online purchase of 4G LTE devices.
Airtel broadband and Airtel digital tv section of the shop offers special promotional offers on purchase. On buying Airtel broadband connection obline from Airtel shop customers will get Rs 500 cashback and while buying Airtel digital tv online customers will get Rs 250 cashback.
For business users Airtel shop offers online ERP solution, on demand cloud storage and online virtual computing. Currently business products are not fully available for purchase from the store.
Airtel shop offers convenient payment solution on all purchase. Customers can pay for the purchase using either Creditcard, Debit card or through net banking, which most of the online shopping stores offer. Airtel shop is one of the first kind of initiative from an Indian telecom operator. With the online shopping trend among India users growing at tremendous rate, Airtel’s new shop will be a game changer in the Indian online e-commerce space.
