The mobile vendor has launched a camera-centric android smartphone the Asus Zenfone Zoom S in India.
Some of the major features of Asus Zenfone Zoom S is its dual 12-megapixel rear camera, Snapdragon SoC, big 5,000mAh battery and 4G LTE with support for VoLTE. The mobile is priced at Rs 26,999 and available exclusively via Flipkart. For colour options, you get to choose from Glacier Silver and Navy Black.
Asus Zenfone Zoom S Features and Spec
The AsusZenfone Zoom S is basically the Indian version of Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom which was unveiled back in CES 2017. The mobile boasts a premium full metal design. The device has 7.99 mm thin edge and weighs around 170 grams. The mobile flaunts a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED 1920 by 1080 display covered in 2.5D curved glass and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom packs a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. To store, all your snappy photos, videos and other media content the mobile carries 64GB of internal storage. You can further expand the storage up to 2TB using microSD card.
Coming to the main features, the Asus Zenfone Zoom S equipped with a dual 12-megapixel rear camera. Out of this, the main camera features SONY IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, Dual Pixel PDAF and 82-degree field of view. This camera is paired with another 12-megapixel zoom camera that offers 12X total zoom and 2.3X optical zoom. On front for selfie addicts, the mobile carries a 13-megapixel camera. It features SONY IMX214 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and screen flash support.
For connectivity, Asus Zenfone Zoom S supports 4G LTE network that can work with any Indian telcos 4G band. In addition, you also get 4G VoLTE support for making HD voice and video calls. Other connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. The mobile runs on an older Android 6.0 OS with ASUS ZenUI 3.0 skin over the top.
