If you have been catching up with the latest Apple event happened at the Steve Jobs Theater, then the company has launched three new iPhones. The iPhone 8, it bigger sibling iPhone 8 Plus and the crowd’s attraction iPhone X (pronounced as iPhone 10).
Once you have gone through all our previous articles about this three iPhones, the next big question in your mind would the price in India. All the three iPhones comes in two internal storage variants – 64GB and 256GB. Lowest among all, the Apple iPhone 8 will retail at a price tag of Rs 64,000 for the 64GB variant. Whereas, the 256GB model of iPhone 8 gets a price tag of Rs 77,000.
Coming to Apple iPhone 8 Plus which will be more sorted device than the iPhone 8 is priced at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB variant. While the 256GB variant of iPhone 8 Plus gets a price tag of Rs 86,000. Finally, the star among the three iPhones, the Apple iPhone X will retail at a price tag of Rs 89,000. That’s for the 64GB storage variant. While the 256GB storage variant of iPhone X gets a price tag of Rs 102,000. That’s the most expensive smartphones currently in India, beating out Samsung Galaxy Note8 by a big margin.
Apple seems to be not delaying the launch of its newest iPhones in India. Apple’s authorised stores in India – Brightstar India, Rashi Peripherals, and Redington India are already making preparations for the sale. Their stores across India will start taking pre-orders for the iPhone8 and iPhone 8 Plus, from 22nd September 2017. The actual sales of the iPhones will start one-week later on 29th September 2017. If you are going the online route, then the iPhones will be available exclusively via Flipkart at the same period.
The anniversary edition iPhone X will be available for pre-order starting 27th October 2017. Shipments for the pre-orders and sales will commence from 3rd November 2017.
