Looking for an easy and convenient way to shop grocery and household items? Amazon India has rolled out its online grocery supermarket – Amazon Pantry in seven more Indian cities. This includes Mumbai, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, and Faridabad. The e-commerce giant has piloted the service in Hyderabad earlier this year.
Amazon Pantry [link] as the name suggest offers a complete supermarket for all your grocery and household needs. It offers next day delivery, best deals on products and even cashback and discount on purchases.
Amazon Pantry offers products mainly in eight categories, which include – Cooking Essentials, Snacks, Beverages & Read-to-eat, Beverages, Baby Care & Baby Food, Household supplies, Bath, Hair Care & Oral care, Skin Care, Make-up and Deodorants, and Pet supplies. Ordering products from Amazon Pantry is as simple as shopping at Amazon. You start with a virtual box which can hold 15 kg or 3 cubic feet of products. When you add products from the above categories, the percentage of space used in the virtual box will be shown. The percentage is calculated for each item, based on its maximum dimensions or weight. You can have multiple virtual boxes if you got more items to purchase.
Each virtual box will be then delivered to your doorstep for a delivery charge of Rs 20 per box. So, if you got items filled up in two virtual boxes then you need to pay a delivery charge of Rs 40. Luckily, if you are an Amazon Prime member, then their won’t be any delivery charges for the Pantry box.

Amazon India has earlier launched Subscribe and Save Store where you subscribe to a product such as Grocery items, personal care products, household essentials etc and it will be delivered to your home every month. What’s more, you will also get up to 10 percent discount on all your Subscribe and Save orders.
