More data and more validity, that’s what we always wanted from an internet pack. For the data savvy customers, India’s top telecom operator Airtel has launched a new unlimited 4G mobile data pack with an extended validity of 90 days.
The Rs 1495 mobile data pack from Airtel offers unlimited 4G/3G data benefits for a period of 90 days. It’s actually NOT a true unlimited 4G data packs like the BSNL’s 3G unlimited data pack, but do come with a fair usage policy (FUP limit).
So if you recharge with the Rs 1495 mobile data pack, you can enjoy unlimited 4G/3G data benefits for a period of 90 days. But the data speed is capped to 2G speed (964Kbps) after you hit the FUP limit of 30GB for 90 days.
This new 4G mobile data pack basically brings down Airtel’s 4G tariff to Rs 50 for 1GB of 4G data benefits. In addition, you also get unlimited 2G data usage after the data cap. That’s in the region of Reliance Jio, who actually claims to offer 4G data plans as low as Rs 50 for 1GB data benefits.

The new extended validity unlimited 4G data pack is available for Airtel’s pan-India prepaid subscribers. One can recharge for the 4G data Pack through myAirtel app, Airtel website or any third party retailer.
Earlier Airtel introduced 4G data cutter packs, which essentially cut down your 4G or 3G data cost by around 70 percent. The mega saver pack comes with a validity of 12 months and brings down the cost of 1GB of 4G/3G data benefits to less than Rs 51.
