Now ‘My Airtel’ app has become a complete app on its own. It’s got a unified interface to the entire suite of Airtel’s mobile apps (way similar to Reliance Jio’s MyJio app). In addition, its now come with more value added features.
India’s top telecom operator Airtel has completely revamped its self-care app – the ‘My Airtel’ app. It now includes a complete list of various Airtel apps, all your Airtel accounts information (mobile, DTH, Data card), Cloud storage, Airtel Dialer, and finally Airtel Jackpot.
Let’s dig into what actually changed with the new My Airtel app. First, the telecom operator has listed the entire suite of its own and partners mobile apps. This includes –
- Wynk Movies – watch and download latest movies, TV and videos.
- Wynk Music – unlimited music streaming along with offline support.
- Airtel Money – the mobile wallet that can be used for online shopping as well as for recharging.
- Wynk Games – a collection of more than 2500 ad-free mobile games.
- Ditto Live Tv – live stream more than 100 Indian live tv channels.
- Juggernaut – more that 450 e-books to read.
- Hike messenger – messaging app and Hike direct to share files without the internet.
- Airtel Dialer – a phone dealer that offers call details along with free voice minutes.
Do note that your 4G or 3G data balance will be charged on using any of the above apps above. Still, you can get a free premium membership to some of the apps like Ditto TV, Wynk Music and others.
Airtel has also started offering free cloud storage for its mobile subscribers through My Airtel app. Airtel Backup initially will come with 2GB of free cloud storage. Through this, you can securely backup your phone data like call logs, messages, photos, videos and other documents.
Airtel Dialer
Another interesting feature added to the new My Airtel app is the ‘Airtel Dialer’. Once activate, the Airtel Dialer will replace your phone’s default dialer. It can keep a track of your talk time, data balance and offer real-time balance information.
To get started, Airtel is offering its subscribers free 50 minutes of Airtel-to-Airtel local and STD voice calling. You can also earn free voice calling minutes while continue using the dialer.
Airtel is also rewarding its subscribers for using various Airtel apps. The ‘Airtel Jackpot’ offers up to 5GB of free night 4G data benefits on downloading and using Airtel Apps.
The new update for My Airtel app is available for both Android and iOS devices.
