India’s top telecom operator Airtel seems to be in a roll out spree, matching the massive coverage of Reliance Jio. Airtel has now expanded its 4G LTE services to the third town in Gujarat telecom circle and 27th town in Rajasthan telecom circle.
In Gujarat, Airtel has expanded its 4G services to Surat, following the roll out in Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Whereas in Rajasthan, Airtel 4G has been expanded to Jaipur. That takes the count to 27 towns across Rajasthan, which also include Didwana, Fatehpur, Ladnu, Makrana, Tonk, Rajsamand, Nathdwara, Bundi and Dungarpur.
In both telecom circles, Airtel has rolled out its 4G network using FDD-LTE technology in the 1800 Mhz spectrum band. This offers faster downloading speed and better browsing experience.
Airtel 4G launch offers
As a launch offer, Airtel is offering 10GB of high-speed 4G data benefits for Rs 250 on prepaid and postpaid. The promotional offer is valid when you purchase a new 4G smartphone. On recharge with the above plan, your account will be instantly credited with 1GB of 4G data benefits. For rest of the promotional 9 GB of 4G data benefits, you need to claim it through MyAirtel app.
One can recharge for the promotional 4G data plan three times within 90 days period. So you will get 30GB of high-speed 4G data benefits for three months at Rs 747.
If you are looking to further discount on 4G data plans, Airtel has introduced 4G data cutter packs, which essentially cut down your 4G or 3G data cost by around 70 percent. In addition, the company has come up with Rs 1495 mobile data pack, that offers unlimited 4G/3G data benefits for a period of 90 days.
