A bit late to the party, yet India’s largest telecom operator Airtel want to make up the lost opportunity in the data card segment. The telco has essentially dropped the price of its 4G Hotspot WiFi device to Rs 999. The same exact price of Reliance Jio’s 4G WiFi device or JioFi device.
You could easily buy the Airtel 4G Hotspot WiFi device from the telcos retail stores across the country. You could also order the device via Airtel official website which offers a free and secure delivery to your doorstep. In addition, now you will be able to order one through Amazon India. Previously, the device was available at a price tag of Rs 1,950.
Talking about Airtel 4G Hotspot WiFi device, you can create a WiFi hotspot and connect up to 10 devices simultaneously. This include, connection to laptops, mobile devices, tablets and Smart TVs. It comes with a 1500 mAh battery that can last up to six hours of continuous usage. When compared this to Reliance Jio’s JioFi device, it can connect up to 32 devices which also include IoT device. Also, JioFi has a bigger 2,300mAh battery that can easily last up to 8 hours of usage.
