Choosing what we need and paying only for services that we use, is one thing we lack with our telecom operators. But that’s going to change, India’s emerging telecom operator Aircel has launched ‘Design your own plan’ service for its Prepaid and Postpaid customers, allowing them to customize a plan according to their requirements and pay only for what they use.

Custom plans was first introduced by Airtel through airtel myPlan and latter followed by Idea Cellular with iPlan. But both these services provided the customisation to a small extend and to Postpaid customers only.

Aircel comes up with ‘Design your own plan’ for Prepaid & Postpaid Customers

With Aircel’s Design your own plan service both Prepaid and Postpaid customers get’s the freedom to customize plans base on their requirements and pay only for what they use. Customers from eighteen telecom circles can design their own plans according to their requirements. Customers can choose their usage on Voice calling – which include Local calls, ISD calls, STD calls and Roaming calls, SMS, 2G and 3G data usage. They can choose from three option on each requirement –

  • Chatty – more than 1 Hour of voice calling a day or more than 10 SMS a day
  • Normal – 10 minutes of voice calling a day or 1 SMS a day or 10 MB per day
  • Rarely – Less than 5 minutes of voice calling a day or 1 SMS per week or  less than 10 MB a week
  • Addict – More than 50 MB data usage a day

With the choices provided Aircel will calculate and provide a perfect plan according to your requirement. Customers can re-customise the plan or add extra packs like extra 3G data or voice minutes or can confirm with the designed plan and activate it on their Aircel connection. New customers after building the plan can fill and submit the Aircel Customer Enrollment Form at the nearest Aircel store.
