During the unpacked 2013 event held in Berlin Germany, Samsung has unveiled its latest addition to the Note family – the GALAXY Note 3. Coming with lots of enhancement and improvements over the predecessor, GALAXY Note 3 features a 5.7 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a 13 megapixel camera that can even shoot 4K videos, Quad-Core/Octa Core Processor, 3GB RAM, enhanced S-Pen, and a long-lasting 3,200mAh battery.
Samsung GALAXY Note 3 is bigger than its predecessors, but it got slimmer with 8.3mm and lighter with 168g hardware design that hosts some of the most powerful hardware found on a mobile device. To add a premium look and feel GALAXY Note 3 has soft and textured-touch leather back cover with delicate stitching.
Samsung GALAXY Note 3 spots a 5.7 inch full HD Super AMOLED display which has a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel and pixel density of 386ppi. On the hardware side it comes in two variants 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 Processor for 4G LTE market and 1.9 GHz Octa Core Processor that packs both ARM Cortex-A15 and ARM Cortex-A7 chip for 3G markets. It also incorporates the mobile industry’s largest 3GB RAM on the hardware. On the rear it got a 13 megapixel shooter with Smart Stabilization and high CRI LED flash, that allow it to shoot even 4K videos. On front it got a 2 megapixel camera that comes with BSI sensor with Smart Stabilization and allow full HD video recording at 30fps. Note 3 comes with a storage option of 32GB or 64GB that can be expanded up to 64GB using microSD card. To power this massive phablet it carries a removable 3200mAh Li-ion battery, that guarantees a day long usage.
There is lot on the software side of GALAXY Note 3, it runs on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with new TouchWiz software enhancements on top. S Pen features has been enhanced to deliver superior note-taking experience. While clicking on the S Pen button while hovering over the screen introduces users to Air Command, a palette of five powerful applications. Which includes Action Memo that allows users to hand write a note that can also converted to formatted content and in addition it can instantly initiate a call, add to contacts, look up an address on a map, search the web, save a task to a to-do list, and more. Scrapbook that enables users to organize or track down content and information from various sources including the web, YouTube and Gallery in one place. Screen Write that captures the full screen image of the current page on the device and allows users to write comments or additional information onto the captured image. S Finder that allow allows users to expansively search for content on their device regardless of the type and finally Pen Window that allows users to launch any applications by simply drawing anywhere on the screen.

Samsung has also enhanced the multitasking experience where now users can toggle seamlessly between applications without closing the window or opening a new page. In addition the Drag and Drop mode within the new Multi Window, users can easily drag and drop content such as a text or image from one window to the other in an instant.
Samsung GALAXY Note 3 will be available in more than 140 countries including India from September 25, 2013.
