Pushing further in the hyper-competitive 4G smartphone market, Reliance Jio has launched its entry level 4G android smartphones – LYF Flame 1 and LYF Wind 6.

Both smartphones support all three 4G network bands of Reliance Jio and got 4G VoLTE and VoWi-Fi features that offer HD-quality voice and video calls, seamless switching of a call from the service provider’s network to any available Wi-Fi network and high-speed Internet.

As an entry-level 4G smartphone, LYF Flame 1  packs everything you can expect from an affordable mobile. The smartphone flaunts a 4.5-inch display, powered by 1.1 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It got a 5-megapixel camera on back and front. The mobile packs 8GB internal storage that can be expanded using microSD card and runs on Android v5.1 Lollipop OS.

The dual SIM LYF Flame 1 supports 4G networks (all three bands FDD Band 3(1800)/Band 5(850), TDD Band 40(2300)) along with support for VoLTE, VoWi-Fi, 3G, 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth.

LYF Wind 6 got a small bump in its hardware from LYF Flame 1 with a 5 inch IPS display and a slightly higher capacity battery of 2250 mAh.

Coming to the price, low-end model LYF Flame 1 is priced at Rs 6,490 and LYF Wind 6 at Rs 7,090. Both mobiles are available to buy at Reliance Digital stores across India.

Reliance Jio is gearing up for its full-fledged pan-India 4G LTE service rollout during the mid-2016 and earlier the company has announced its high-end LYF Earth and mid-range LYF Water series 4G smartphones.
