It’s now matter of days, you can get hold of the flagship killer smartphone – the OnePlus One on December 2nd 2014 exclusively via Amazon India. Yet the price has not been announced, but we can expect the price to be less than what we import it from US. The company is also hosting an event in New Delhi where its expected to officially announce the sale of OnePlus One in India and also the pricing.

OnePlus One will still following the invite system in India, where you will need to get an invite to purchase the smartphone from Amazon India. You can get the invites by participating on OnePlus India website (Oneplus.net/In) or via participating in a content on Amazon India.

How to get a OnePlus One India invite

  • One way is to subscribe to the OnePlus Newsletter from the official website (Oneplus.net/In) or on Amazon India (Amazon.in/OnePlusOne). Once confirmed your email subscription, OnePlus or Amazon India will send out invites to lucky winners post 2nd December 2014.
  • Another way is to ask someone who purchases the OnePlus One on Amazon India for an invite.
  • You can also participate in contest held by Amazon India to increase your chance of getting an invite. Frequently check Amazon India Facebook and Twitter profiles for more clues.

If you are lucky, you will receive an invite post 2nd December 2014 via email. Click on the unique link within the email to register with OnePlus and then click on the buy button under your account to purchase the smartphone from Amazon India. Note that the invite code is only valid for 48 hours (unless mentioned otherwise) and if you fail to purchase you will need to go through all the above process again.

As for the OnePlus One features goes, the flagship-killer smartphone spots a 5.5 inch JDI full HD IPS display, powered by 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It comes with a massive 64GB internal storage and with no expandable storage option. On the back the smartphones features a 13 megapixel camera and on the front a 5 megapixel camera. On the software front the smartphone runs on the highly customizable CyanogenMod ROM CM11s basd on Android 4.4 KitKat. On the connectivity side the smartphone comes with 4G LTE (that supports Indian 4G LTE networks), 3G and 2G networks along with dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0 and NFC options.

Earlier OnePlus has announced that Indian user who has bought the global version of the One from oneplus.net can now avail full warranty and after-sales service in India.
