Going this new year with its aggressive pricing, Nokia has launched the Lumia 1320 phablet and Lumia 525 smartphones which is an upgrade to Lumia’s 520 in Indian market. Both Windows Phone has been priced very competitively with Lumia 1320 getting a price tag of Rs 23,999 and Lumia 525 with a price tag of Rs 10,399.

Nokia Lumia 525 Windows Phone

First going into the specification of its budget smartphone and importantly the successor of the company’s highly popular Lumia 520 model – the Nokia Lumia 525 Windows Phone. It features a 4 inch WVGA display with a screen resolution of 480×800 pixels and powered by IPS LCD technology . It runs on 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and carries 8GB of expandable internal storage with microSD card slot. On the rear it carries a 5 megapixel camera but without flash. On the connectivity front it supports 3G, 2G, WiFi, Bluetooth v 4.0 and USB 2.0. It runs the latest Windows Phone 8 mobile os and comes with 7GB of free storage on Microsoft SkyDrive. It also got built-in various Nokia and Microsoft apps including Nokia Here, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

On the other end Nokia Lumia 1320, is basically a phablet with its 6 inch ClearBlack IPS LCD display with HD 720p resolution. It’s equipped with 1.7 GHz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and carries a 8 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB with MicroSD cards. It got a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back that comes with Nokia Camera app along with editing tools like Creative Studio and Cinemagraph.

On the connectivity front it supports the 4G LTE connectivity, but we are not sure if it supports the Indian LTE band.In addition it supports WCDMA and GSM networks along with WiFi and Bluetooth v4.0. It also runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 os with Lumia Black update out of the box and comes built-in various Nokia and Microsoft apps.
