Bumping up most of the hardware part in 2013 Nexus 5 smartphone, Google brings it’s more affordable android smartphone in the Nexus line-up – the all new Nexus 5X. Build by LG for Google, the Nexus 5X packs mid-range hardware like Snapdragon 808 processor, a 12.3-megapixel camera, full HD display, fingerprint scanning and backed by the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Google Nexus 5X comes with a full HD 5.2-inch LCD display with a 424 ppi and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Additionally the display is now coated with fingerprint and smudge-resistant oleophobic. Under the hood, Nexus 5X is powered by 2.0 GHz hexa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with surprisingly only 2GB RAM. Graphics side is fully taken care by Adreno 418 graphics processing unit.

Nexus 5X comes with the same rear camera module of Nexus 6P with a 12.3-megapixel shooter having an aperture of f/2.0 and uses 1.55 uM sensor. It also features infrared laser-assisted autofocus found on most of LG devices along with dual flash support. On the front, the smartphone got a 5-megapixel camera that uses a 1.4 uM sensor. On the storage side, Google still offers the Nexus in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variant with no option for expandable microSD card slot. On the connectivity side, the Nexus 5X supports high-speed 4G LTE (with full support on Indian LTE bands) along with 3G and 2G networks and comes with WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC options. In addition, Google has adopted the new standard with USB Type-C charging and data port. For extra security, they have also added the fingerprint scanner on the back of the device.

Out of the box Google Nexus 5X will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with major enhancement like Google Now on Tap, extra setting on App installs allowing you to choose what data to share with each app, highly improved battery life and much more.

As a mid-range device, Google Nexus 5X comes with a price tag starting around Rs 31,990 for the 16 GB version and will be available in India at Google device store from this October 2015.
