After the highly colorful and customizable Moto X, Google owned company Motorola unveiled its next smartphone in the series – Moto G. Made to be more affordable the mid-range smartphone delivers a premium experience in every angle. It features a 4.5 inch HD display, Quad Core CPU, Android 4.3 Jellybean OS with guaranteed Android 4.4 KitKat update, waterproof nano coating, customization options and at a price starting $179 (Rs 11,200 approx).
With this Motorola will be heading backing to India, as they intend to launch the dual SIM version of Moto G smartphone in India in the early January, 2014. The 8GB Moto G is priced at $179 (Rs 11,200 approx) and 16 GB varient at $199 (Rs 12,500 approximately).

Moto G got a 4.5inch sharp 720p HD edge-to-edge display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixel that stretches to all four corners of the phone. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 350 GPU with 1GB RAM to provide seamless multitasking with all-day battery life. On the rear it carries a 5 megapixel shooter with LED flash and on the front it got a 1.3 megapixel camera.
It comes with 8GB or 16GB internal memory variants, but there is no mention of expandable storage option with microSD card. Instead Motorola is offering two years 50GB of free online cloud storage with Google Drive. It also got a water-resistant nano-coating on the inside and outside. On the connectivity front it supports 3G and 2G networks along with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0. It runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean OS with guaranteed Android 4.4 KitKat update.

Moto G has also some level of customization with the removable rear panel that can be swapped with a different colorful panel. There are 19 customization options available including interchangeable Motorola Shells and Flip Shells in seven colors as well as Grip Shells in five colors.
Moto G will go on sale this week (November, 2013) in Brazil and parts of Europe and will be available within the next few weeks throughout Latin America, Europe, Canada and parts of Asia. And the good news is that it will India, US, the Middle East and more of Asia in early January.
