Finally Google has launched its Device store through Google Play in India. The first Nexus device to get listed and sold directly by Google Play India is the 7inch Android tablet Nexus 7 with a price tag of Rs 15,999.
Now Indian users can order the Nexus 7 tablet from Google Play directly. Currently the Nexus 7 16GB Wi-Fi only model is listed in Google Play and its excepted to start shipping the tablet by April 5, 2013. The tablets will be are delivered via Fedex/Aramex in 3-7 business days. Nexus 7 tablet features a 7inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and protected by scratch resistant Corning glass. Its powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with a 12-core GPU that provides everything in faster, the pages load quickly, gameplay is smooth and responsive, and running multiple apps is a breeze. With this move to sell Nexus devices directly through Google Play, Google knows the importance of world’s largest mobile and developers market. We can soon except Google to launch other Nexus devices like the Nexus 4 smartphone and Nexus 10 tablet in India in the coming months.
