Their it is, putting end to the long list of rumors and leaks surrounding the next Nexus, Google has officially unveiled the beast the Nexus 5 smartphone. Featuring the stunning 4.95 inch 1080p IPS display, powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 8MP camera, latest Android 4.4 KitKat and with an affordable price tag. It got listed in the Google India Play store already with a price tag of Rs 28,999 for 16GB model and Rs 32,999 for 32GB model. But, both versions are listed under ‘Coming Soon’ tag, so you may need to wait a little to get hold of the beauty.
Google Nexus 5 is built by LG as the previous Nexus 4 and features superb build quality and powerful hardware under the hood. It spots a 4.95 inch full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 445 ppi. It’s powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM and carries 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU unit. On the rear side it carries a 8 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization helping you out on shaky hands and blurry pictures. The new HDR+ mode automatically snaps a rapid burst of photos and combines them to give you the best possible shot. It comes with internal memory of or 32GB and as-always there is no expansion slot. On the connectivity front it 4G/LTE, 3G, 2G, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, NFC (Android Beam) and Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
Another major highlight of the device is that it’s the first mobile to come with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Its packed with lots of cool features that deliver a smarter and more engaging user experience. It carries the enhanced Google Now, new dialer, support for SMS on Hangouts app, Google cloud print, enhanced backup solution and lots more.
