Pumping up its effort to get more and more people to its 4G network trail. The yet to be commercially launched Indian telecom operator Reliance Jio has extended its Jio 4G preview offer to selected Gionee, Lava, Xolo and Karbonn smartphones.
If you own a compatible Gionee, Lava, Xolo and Karbonn mobile device then you can get a free Reliance Jio 4G SIM, which will also come bundled with three months or 90 days of unlimited 4G LTE data usage, unlimited voice calls (VoLTE) and message (SMS).
Which all 4G smartphones included? Karbonn smartphones that are eligible for Jio preview offer include Aura 1, Aura Power, Quattro L45 IPS, Quattro L50 HD, Quattro L51 HD, Quattro L52 VR and Quattro L55 HD.
There is a whole range of Lava smartphones included in the Jio preview offer like A71, A72, A76, A76 Plus, A88, A89, A97, Ivory s 4g, Lava V5 M, Pixel V2, V2s, X10, X11, X12, X17, X28, X38, X41, X41 Plus, X46, X50, X50 Plus and X81. As for its subsidiary mobile brand Xolo – Black-1X M, era 1X, era 2X, era 4G, era 4K and era X smartphones are eligible.
As for Gionee most of the 4G smartphones including E8, F103 Pro, F103(1GB), F103(2GB), F103(3GB), M4, M5, M5 Lite, M5 Lite CDMA, M5 Plus, P5L, S Plus, S6, S6s, S7 and V6L are eligible for Jio preview offer.
How to avail Jio 4G preview offer
- If you got a supported Gionee, Lava, Xolo or Karbonn android smartphone, then download the MyJio app from Google Play store.
- On opening the MyJio app, click on the ‘Get Jio sim’ button on the home screen banner.
- The app will generate a unique coupon code and barcode.
- Visit any of your nearest Reliance Digital, Digital Xpress or a Digital Xpress mini stores to claim you free Jio 4G SIM.
- You must carry all the valid documents including address and identification proof along with passport size photo.
- Once you have a Jio 4G SIM, insert it to your Gionee, Lava, Xolo or Karbonn smartphone which you used to claim the offer.
- Activate the Jio 4G SIM by calling 1977.
- Once your Jio 4G SIM is activated, go to the MyJio App and register to avail the three months Jio 4G preview offer.
Users availing the Reliance Jio 4G preview offer will get – free unlimited access to VoLTE calling, unlimited high-speed 4G LTE data usage, and SMS for a period of three months or 90 days. In addition, they will also get access to all eight Jio applications including JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioXpressNews, Jio Drive, Jio Security, and JioNews for the same period.
Reliance Jio started offering free Jio SIM cards and 4G preview offer with LYF branded smartphones. This offer was then extended to selected Samsung, LG, Apple iPhones, Asus, Panasonic, TCL, Alcatel, and Micromax & YU devices. Recently the company started offering JioFi 4G MiFi hotspot device without an invite which also comes with Jio 4G preview offer.
