This time no one to catch up with Bharti Airtel, as they are the sole operator of wide scale 4G LTE service provider in India. Making the super fast 4G more affordable, Airtel slashed the tariffs for 4G LTE data plans by around 30%, which is comparable to current 3G data plans. The new 4G pricing is applicable to subscribers in four telecom circles Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Chandigarh with monthly rental plans now starting from Rs 450.

With its new pricing, Airtel has created two section of 4G data plans, one for casual users who want to take the service a spin consuming low amount of data and heavy internet savvy users who consumes lots of data and needs extreme fast speed on browsing. On regular plans, starting as low as Rs 450 provides consumers with bundled 4G data usage of 2GB with one month validity. Other regular plans at Rs 650 and Rs 750 offers 4G data usage of 3GB and 4GB respectively at blazing speed of 4G speed.

High-end plans include starts from Rs 999 providing 4G data usage of 10GB per month. Other 4G data plans range from Rs 1,299 with 12GB data usage, Rs 1,449 with 15GB data usage, Rs 2,049 with 25GB data usage, Rs 2,999 with 45GB data usage and finally for Rs 4,799 with 80GB of data usage at blazing 4G speeds. In addition subscribers to any of these high-end plans will also be able to enjoy free access to movies and games library powered by BigFlix and Indiagames.

Earlier this month, Airtel slashed the pricing for 2G data by around 90% to 1p/10KB in two telecom circles Punjab and Haryana and was only applicable for prepaid customers. The pricing war started with Vodafone first cutting the 2G data charges by 80%, which was closely followed by Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular.
